Task Force Sixteen

On behalf of the members of Task Force Sixteen: Atlantic Lightning, Welcome! Task Force 16 was formed in 2006 as one of the premier Airsoft teams in Central North Carolina.  Based out of Winston Salem, the team has members from all over North Carolina, ranging from Cary to Banner Elk.  In the beginning, Task Force 16 was a small three man team, and over the course of the following year, grew to thirty members, and to date has drastically grown to approximately 70 members. 

Task Force 16 uses principles from the military, specifically the US Army, to provide a unique experience for everyone involved.  Task Force 16 strives to offer a unique Airsoft experience by holding weekly practices, a structured ranking system with military styled command, formal and battle uniforms, monthly team events, and other rewarding activities.  Although Task Force 16 was created by prior military and law enforcement personnel, membership is open to anyone who meets the limited criteria in the TF16 Regulations.  Task Force 16 prides itself for providing an inviting atmosphere for players of all ages and experiences to join together. The principle goal of Task Force 16 is to promote safety while still providing a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. 

Task Force 16 is a proud member of the North Carolina Airsoft Organization (NCAO).
